Drinks Reception

After the ceremony comes one of the most enjoyable parts of the day.

Guests grab a drink, congratulate the happy couple, chat with friends and enjoy the venue while photographs are being taken.

This is where live acoustic music really shines.

Unlike a playlist, live musicians can read the atmosphere and provide the perfect soundtrack without taking over the conversation.

Our two-piece setup featuring guitar, saxophone and vocals creates a laid-back, feel-good atmosphere. It's a great way to entertain guests while the wedding party are away having photographs taken, ensuring everyone enjoys every part of the day.

Wedding Breakfast / Wedding Dinner

Not every couple chooses live music during their meal, but it's becoming increasingly popular.

Soft acoustic music during dinner creates a lovely atmosphere without interrupting conversations between guests.

One of our favourite moments is performing the entrance song as the newlyweds make their way into the reception room.

Evening Reception & First Dance

Once the meal and speeches are over, it's time to party!

For evening receptions, The Wonder Days become a three-piece band by adding our drummer, bringing extra energy and a full live sound that's perfect for filling dance floors.

Rather than the music stopping when the band ends, the evening flows naturally into a professionally mixed DJ set, complete with live saxophone performances throughout the night.
